Toner not fixing to paper or smudging.

Fuser error. Replace fuser unit Order Code: RG5-5064

Poor feed / paper jams / multi-feeding

Fit paper feed repair kit. Order Code: FKITLJ4100 (Single cassette) FKITLJ4100T (Twin cassette)

Paper Jams at the fuser unit.

The fuser film is sticking, and not allowing the paper to pass. Replace the film. Order Code: FILM-4100 or The fuser. Order Code: RG5-5064

Error code 13

Paper jam error. Remove jammed paper (media) and replace worn tyres and pads where needed or fit paper feed repair kit. Order Code: FKITLJ4100 (Single cassette) FKITLJ4100T (Twin cassette) Please note this kits fits both the 4000 & 4050 series.

Error code 41.X

Laser scanner assembly error. Clean laser scanner assembly, or replace. Order code: RG5-5100

Error code 41.3

Incorrect paper size. Check paper size settings. This error is normally related to poor paper feeding, replace worn tyres and pads where needed, or fit a paper feed repair kit. Order Code: FKITLJ4100 (Single cassette) FKITLJ4100T (Twin cassette)

Error code 49.

Bad job error. Unable to process job sent to printer. Cancel job and resend. This error can also be related to network card errors if the printer has one fitted. Remover the card and perform a cold reset.

Error code 50

 Fuser error. Replace fuser unit Order Code: RG5-2662

Perform Printer Maintenance

The printer is due a service. Fit the maintenance kit and reset the count. Order Code: MKIT4100 See below for maintenance count reset

Factory reset. (Cold Reset)

Turn the printer off. Whilst Turning the printer back on, press and hold the Go button until the message Cold Reset is shown on the display.

Maintenance Count Reset.

Turn the printer off. Whilst Turning the printer back on, press and hold the Item & Value switches to the left hand side, until the message Reset Maintenance count is show on the display.
